Halloween is just a few days away! If you’re a procrastinator like us here are...
I have been waiting my whole life to share this before and after with you all! This month marks a YEAR since I had leg reconstruction surgery with Dr. Mark Bowen Taylor at Gateway Laser Center in Salt Lake City, Utah and his colleague Dr. Sotoodian. It was one of the hardest and most rewarding things I’ve ever done for myself.
After sharing my personal experience of getting my medical marijuana card and how it’s helped me on my Instagram stories I had SO many people ask exactly how I was able to get it. So by popular demand and In celebration of 4/20/2020 I decided to put together this quick five step guide outlining how to get your medical marijuana card in the State of Utah.
This is it. My 26th year. I remember being 16 and graduating high school early and feeling like I was so ahead of the game because I was 16 and in college. Then my Dad said to me “I know you think you’re ahead hun, but don’t waste time, you’ll blink and a decade will go by.” He was right.
5 things that happened when I logged out of Instagram.
Now before I write this I want to clarify what I mean by being logged out of Instagram. Instagram is a thing that can be absolutely amazing if it’s used well and absolutely horrible if it’s using you.
This post is a reality check for those of you who see the moms who “bounce back” six weeks after having their baby and think it’s that easy. Because before I had the girls that’s exactly what I thought. I thought I’d be able to just pop them out and keep it movin’.

Our Goldy girl is 11 months! Well, 11 months and a week, but who’s counting? I considered skipping this month because I was a week late. I couldn’t skip it though, because Goldy started WALKING! My heart melted. She started by taking GIANT steps and it was the most hilarious adorable thing I’ve ever seen.
The past two years have been a blur of deadlines and due dates, one after the other. Whether it was a due date of an essay or my baby girls birth or a deadline to renew my business license or register for classes, there was always something pressing me onto the next thing, onto the next moment. This is common in most peoples lives.
Over the weekend we got all dressed up with our favorite finds from Jane like the girls adorable sweater rompers, Kylan’s checkered button up, and my new favorite shirt dress. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Jane, it is an online marketplace with amazing deals on all the latest trends.
I’ll be the first to admit I am a mess. I’ve done my best to hold it all together this long but today was not my day. I’m scatter brained. I’m exhausted. Today I woke up and rushed to class to take a quiz I wasn’t prepared for. Then rushed home to meet with Goldy’s deaf therapist who proceeded to tell me that Rewsey should get into speech
Lately I’ve been wearing many hats. In an average week I’m a wife, friend, business owner, student, realtor, blogger, yogi, shopper, secretary, maid, taxi, and most importantly mama! Since having Goldy I’ve been trying my best to keep it all together but after pulling diapers out of my backpack this week in my Spanish class I realized I really needed a bag that could handle it all with a little more grace.
